The State tax service of Ukraine reports the results of analytical work on business entities that carry out the sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco. Out of 103 thousand business entities through which 67 thousand business entities sell the specified excisable goods, the average monthly revenue of 17 258 amounted only 5 thousand UAH. These data were obtained from results of the analysis of check information coming from the RCO.
Such small amount of revenue may indicate that entities are hiding the real volume of calculated operations. Since, only expenses for the maintenance of one “point” per month make not less than 5.6 thousand UAH (payment of minimum wage, rental costs, utility bills, cash and other equipment maintenance, licenses and permits, etc.).
6884 actual audits of 6496 business entities that carry out the sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco have been conducted over 10 months 2019. According to audit materials, penalties (financial) totaling 60.4 million UAH was applied. Of these, 29.6 million UAH was paid – that is almost 50%.
Also, 2962 actual audits of 2891 restaurants and cafes (38756 in total) have been conducted over January-October 2019.
According to audit materials, penalties (financial) totaling 27.1 million UAH was applied, of which 16.1 million UAH was paid – that is almost 60%.
It should be noted that due to the proceeded measures across Ukraine, the taxpayers received 9623 additional licenses. The budget additionally received almost 73.4 million UAH from the issue of such licenses.
