Forum in Mariupol will attract billions of investments

Large-scale International Investment Forum “RE: THINK. Invest in Ukraine” was held in Mariupol. Forum became the first joint initiative of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, Prime Minister Olexii Honcharuk and the Government that had a purpose to demonstrate investment potential of Ukraine.

More than a hundred powerful commercial and social projects in the spheres of infrastructure, production, energy, agro-production, tourism and more were presented at forum. Also, a complete list of privatization objects was presented for the first time.

This event caught the attention of world investors and politicians. More than 700 guests from 45 countries: more than 100 executives of big companies with world names, more than 20 official delegations led by ministers and ambassadors, about 60 representatives of diplomatic missions came to Mariupol.

During the forum, international investors signed 12 memorandums with Ukrainian regions and companies that pave the way for billion-dollar investments. Memorandum with the European Bank for reconstruction and development on the regional roads financing program became one of the most important achievements. The first tranche is 300 million Euros.

Signed Memorandum with mobile operators on frequency redistribution opens opportunity to implement another major infrastructure. This will allow to provide the countryside and roads with mobile internet for the 4th generation over the next 4 years.
