Serhii Verlanov: the Tax service will be the first to implement the reform “State in the smartphone”

The Tax service will develop in the direction of digitalization and development of electronic services. This was stated by the Chairman of the STS Serhii Verlanov during a meeting with representatives of the Head Office of the STS in Donetsk region.

Meeting with Donetsk colleagues was held after the investment forum “RE: THINK. Invest in Ukraine”, subsequently its main leitmotif was the introduction of digital technologies in the tax sphere.

According to the Chairman of the STS, currently development of the new Tax service is the focus of discussions and expectations. Service is formed on the basis of equality for all taxpayers and building a fair administration system for all taxpayers.

“We keep implementing digitalization and have already completed a significant part of reform. But we have ambitious goals and reforms ahead, in particular: digitization, RPO, cashback, electronic solutions and services. The Tax service will be the first to implement the reform “State in the smartphone” – emphasized Serhii Verlanov.

During a meeting the Chairman of the STS and representatives of the Head Office of the STS in Donetsk region discussed results of Donetsk tax administration’s work in the sphere of tax administration, discussed the problematic issues and outlined priorities by the end of the year.
