RCO is not required for individual-entrepreneurs of the Ist Group and individuals

The use of registrars of calculated operations will not be applied to the single tax payers of the I^st Group of taxation and individuals who sell their own used goods or vegetables at the markets. This was stated by the Chairman of the STS Serhii Verlanov during the briefing.

“Application of fiscalisation and the use of registrars of calculated operations for all is a myth. The I^st Group of entrepreneurs, mostly market traders, will not use the RCO like ordinary people who sell vegetables” – stated Serhii Verlanov.

Now the RCO should be used by the economic entities that sell technically sophisticated household appliances that are subject to warranty repair, sale of medicines and medical supplies. According to Serhii Verlanov starting from the I^st of October 2020 the taxpayers of Group II-IV who carry out the activity, in particular: sale of jewelry, retail of second-hand goods in shops (not in the markets!), restaurants, cafes, travel agencies and hotels should also use the registrars of calculated operations.

The mandatory use of the RCO for the single tax payers of II – IV Groups of taxation will be effective starting from the 1^st of January 2021.

Serhii Verlanov also informed that starting from the 1^st of January 2021the marginal volume of income of the single tax payers of Group II will be raised from 1.5 million UAH to 2.5 million UAH. In fact, such changes will facilitate activity of the “simplified” entrepreneurs.
