Serhii Verlanov: long-term transition will allow entrepreneurs to adapt to changes in the RCO system

The STS has almost one year before the introduction of fiscalization of the single tax payers of individual industries and six months before the introduction of the software registrars of calculated operations. That’s how the Chairman of the STS Serhii Verlanov commented the innovations in the RCO system prescribed by the draft Laws №1053-1 and №1073, approved by Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at the end of last week during the briefing.

According to him, the STS is planning to use this time for a wide information campaign that will involve not only taxpayers but also the RCO producers.

“System of software RCO did not occur on an empty spot. During the last year, an experiment was conducted on the basis of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and the SFS, and now with the STS, on the use of the newest RCO. Applications from 8 producers have been accepted, 6 software products have been tested to date” – said Serhii Verlanov.  

The Chairman of the Tax service also emphasized the importance of having the latest devices that work offline. In this mode it will be possible to work for 36 hours and then send a report to the STS.

During the year of transition, the STS jointly with the Ministry of Finance will analyze the situation with Internet coverage in the country and on this basis will be made appropriate changes that regulate the issues of where it is possible to work without the RCO due to the lack of Internet.

“As the STS we will provide necessary assistance, conduct business outreach to show that this is not a complication. On the contrary, it is a chance to streamline the business, show banks a picture of the day, picture of the week, picture of the month, picture of the year without hiring highly qualified or accounting companies or spending extra resources - in order to avoid taking the loans and start to develop the business to earn more, be more efficient and competitive” - emphasized Serhii Verlanov.
