Amount of reimbursed VAT has increased by 20.3 billion UAH over 8 months 2019

105.5 billion UAH of the value added tax has been reimbursed to payers during January-August 2019.

Compared to the corresponding period last year, the amount of compensation has increased almost by 24% or by 20.3 billion UAH. 85.2 billion UAH was reimbursed to payers in January-August 2018.

11.4 billion UAH of the VAT has been reimbursed to payers in August 2019.

It should be reminded that there are no possibilities for manipulation with the VAT reimbursement as of today, since the whole process is automatic and transparent. Procedure for reimbursement of the value added tax occurs within the time limits determined by the law. Payers who have a right on the budgetary compensation receive it in case of approval of the declared amount of budgetary compensation by the supervisory authority on the basis of results of cameral audit and in cases on the basis of results of  documentary audit determined by the Code. The deadline for verification is 60 calendar days after the deadline for submission of the tax invoice.
