When Maryna Sydoryna learned about winning the grant program, her first emotion was joy. Her catering business finally received resources to expand. However, along with the grant funds, new responsibility emerged: how to properly organize growing business so that tax subtleties do not hinder development?
Task ahead was to create additional workplace and expand the range. Quite practical questions arose:
- Which group of the simplified system to choose – second or the third?
- How to correctly keep track of income and not exceed the limits?
- How to officially register new employee according to all labor and tax regulations?
To find accurate answers without a guesswork, Maryna addressed to the Tax Consultant Office of Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Vinnytsia region. Specialists helped to compare in detail conditions of work on the simplified taxation system, taking into account specifics of the restaurant business.
Consultants, together with entrepreneur, analyzed allowable amounts of annual income, single tax rates, rules for working with clients and contractors, as well as restrictions on the number of personnel.
Algorithm for official employment was explained to Maryna in detail, from notifying the tax authorities about the employee’s employment to calculating salaries, paying single contribution, personal income tax and military levy. Having weighed all the pros and cons, Maryna chose 2nd group of the single tax.
"When you open or expand business, you want to direct all your energy to the quality of dishes and service for guests. Support of tax consultants removed all doubts about accounting and personnel. Now we work confidently and according to the rules" – says Maryna.
Tax Consultant Offices of the State Tax Service continue to provide practical expert support to the taxpayers, helping business operate openly, confidently and transparently.
