Local budgets received 112.4 million UAH of fee for parking spaces in half a year

Local budgets received 112.4 million UAH of fee for parking spaces in January – June 2026. This is 11.1% (11.2 million UAH) more than in the same period last year, when revenues amounted to 101.2 million UAH.

The biggest amounts were paid by taxpayers in Odesa region, namely 39.2 million UAH, Lviv - 30.2 million UAH, Dnipropetrovsk - 27.1 million UAH and Ivano-Frankivsk - 4.7 million UAH.

Fee for parking spaces is a part of local taxes, so revenues remains with communities. These funds help develop transport infrastructure, equip parking lots, improve road safety and create comfortable urban space for everyone.

At the same time, legislation guarantees parking accessibility for people with disabilities. Fee is not collected from areas of land plots that are allocated for fee for parking spaces of drivers with disabilities or drivers transporting people with disabilities.

Such places are obligatory in specially equipped or designated parking areas. Their number must be at least 10% of the total number of parking spaces, but not less than one place. In addition, they must be marked with appropriate road signs and/or road markings. This ensures unhindered access to the parking infrastructure for people with disabilities, veterans, elderly and other groups of people with limited mobility.

Reminder! The fee payers are legal entities, their branches (units, representative offices) and individuals-entrepreneurs who, by decision of the local government body, organize and carry out activities to ensure parking of vehicles in paid parking lots and specially designated parking lots.

Timely payment of local taxes and fees is a contribution to development of communities, creation of modern infrastructure and a barrier-free environment that is comfortable for everyone.
