Tax support for veterans: State Tax Service joined Superhumans Reunion 2026

State Tax Service of Ukraine team joined the Superhumans Reunion 2026 in Odesa  meeting of the Superhumans community, which united veterans and civilians, their families, partners and friends. The goal is to popularize among Defenders a new service of the State Tax Service – tax support for veteran business. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh.

Event was attended by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, First Lady Olena Zelenska, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko, Minister of Veterans Affairs Natalia Kalmykova.

“Supporting veterans is not about one day or a separate initiative. This is daily work that helps those who defended the country confidently return to peaceful life” – she stated.

In the Tax Consultant Offices, which today operate in 20 regions, the new service has been launched – tax support for veterans’ business. There is also online format. This is the new solution from the State Tax Service to help everyone who returned from the war adapt to civilian life as much as possible.

“When our veterans decide to start their own business, it is the state bodies that can help to do it as comfortably as possible, without bureaucracy. It is we who must explain, prompt, and support” – added acting Head of the State Tax Service.

State Tax Service’s specialists, during the event, communicated a lot with veterans.

Without formalities, in simple language, they answered all tax questions. And there were a lot of them. How to choose taxation system? Where to start own business? What taxes are needed to be paid? Where to turn if a problem arises?

Veterans from different parts of the country came to the State Tax Service location, and this once again showed: support should be available regardless of where a person lives.

“And if our advice helps someone take the first step more confidently, it means that we were here for a reason. That is why tax support for veterans is about open dialogue, trust, and support when it is really needed” – Lesya Karnaukh added.

State Tax Service continues to work to make government services simple, accessible and understandable for everyone returning to civilian life.
