Analytics at a new level: specialists of the State Tax Service have mastered OSINT tools to combat financial violations

Methods of using specialized OSINT tools to detect and analyze hidden corporate connections and supply chains were studied by the State Tax Service’s employees. Training took place as a part of a course organized by the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Participants mastered methods of collecting, analyzing and verifying information from the open sources. These are tools that allow for more effective risk identification, combating tax evasion and other economic crimes.

Particular attention was paid to the practical application of OSINT tools in a daily work, as well as aspects of digital security and data analytics.

Development of analytical capacity is one of the key areas of the Service’s transformation. New skills of specialists will help increase efficiency of the State Tax Service units and contribute to the implementation of modern approaches to identifying risks and threats in the taxation sphere.

State Tax Service will continue to develop training programs for employees, introduce modern technologies and strengthen interdepartmental cooperation to strengthen the economic security of the state.
